I believe that each person deserves the support and care to feel as comfortable and prepared as possible with death and dying. This is your one and only dying process - you should have the opportunity to make it uniquely yours.

I very specifically came to this work as a result of the protracted death of one of my best friends. As her neighbor and dear friend, I saw up close not only the myriad decisions she had to make about her end of life, but also how others in her life did (or sometimes didn’t) respect those decisions. Sadly, some of her documentation still wasn’t complete when she died and as a result, some of her wishes were not honored. But for those things that WERE documented we were able to give her exactly what she wanted.

I want to help you make sure you are prepared so you are surrounded with the people, things, preparations and experiences that bring you joy and comfort in your final days, weeks and months.

To that end, some of the services I can offer to you might include:

  • Assisting with prep and completion/filing of final documents - wills, trusts medical directives, powers of attorney (and finding pros to help you, if needed)

  • Coordinating prep of your tangible assets for gifting, donating, selling etc. (and finding pro organizers, if needed)

  • Helping you collect and store all important documents and items in one centralized location (your executor & loved ones will thank you!)

  • Documenting your desires and needs as you near the end of life/after you have died to be sure you have the death you want

  • Providing support for those around you who are providing you love and care (including the period shortly after death)
